The initial dedicated products using CORE™ technology are slated for use in the commercial/industrial and ranch and farm markets, but will also appeal to the discerning homeowner. The idea is to launch a quality product line into markets that support a highly profitable price point, but also help establish a premium brand name that will flow into the high end user markets and quickly follow into the everyday consumer markets. This approach has worked well in similar markets, such as power tools, with brands like DeWalt, Rigid, and Milwaukee. The “split boom” configuration, or “Power Lok System”, as it has been branded, will follow the dedicated units with an offering of the same high quality products in a package that allows everyday consumers to purchase CORE™ motor integrated attachments rather than multiple dedicated products. The Power Lok system will ride on the high quality brand credentials built by the dedicated units, but will present a more affordable option for typical homeowners to purchase all of the CORE Outdoor Power Products.
